CUPS Causes Long Shutdown

If you notice that Ubuntu 16.04 takes a really long time to shutdown, the problem may be with CUPS. Try the following:

• In /etc/cups/cups-browsed.conf, uncomment the line DomainSocket /var/run/cups/cups.sock
